Who we are
hausify.in (“Hausify”, “we”, “us”) is run by RMRT Venture Private Limited. We decide how personal data on this site is used, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). We have no user accounts and no checkout, so you can read Hausify without telling us who you are.
What we collect
- Cookies and basic analytics: your browser and device type, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed and the site you came from. We may use Google Analytics or a similar tool to see this in aggregate.
- Anything you email us: your name, email address and whatever you choose to write.
Amazon and affiliate links
Hausify contains affiliate links to Amazon.in. As an Amazon Associate, we may earn from qualifying purchases made through those links, at no extra cost to you.
Third parties, including Amazon and other advertisers, may serve content and advertisements, collect information directly from visitors, and place or recognise cookies on visitors’ browsers. They may also use web beacons and similar technologies. This lets us be credited for qualifying purchases. Your purchase on Amazon.in is covered by Amazon’s own privacy notice.
Social media pixels
We may use the Pinterest Tag and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). They help us understand how visitors from those platforms use the site, and those platforms may use them to show you relevant ads.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
How we use and share data
We use data to run and improve the site, understand which guides are useful, earn affiliate commissions, reply to your messages and meet legal obligations.
We share data only with services that help us run the site, such as our web host (Hostinger), Amazon, analytics providers and the social platforms above, or with authorities when the law requires it. Each of these handles data under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct, update or erase it
- withdraw any consent you have given
- raise a grievance with us
- nominate someone to exercise these rights in the event of your demise or incapacity
Email us to use any of these rights. If you’re not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children
Hausify is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us personal data, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top.
